The recipes, techniques, videos, articles, and other material on this site are for general information and inspiration. Cooking results vary by ingredient, equipment, skill, and circumstance. Chris Shaften does not guarantee any particular result. Use your own judgment in the kitchen, including around allergies, food safety, and dietary needs.

2. Private chef inquiries
An inquiry does not confirm a booking. Dates, menus, travel, pricing, and other details are confirmed separately in writing.

3. Third-party links and affiliate links
This site links to third-party services, including YouTube, Instagram, Kit, and Amazon. Their sites and policies are their own. Chris Shaften may earn a commission from qualifying purchases through Amazon Associate links. As an Amazon Associate, Chris Shaften earns from qualifying purchases.

Information is used to send Fridge Notes when you opt in, respond to private chef and general inquiries, improve the site and its content, understand site use, and protect the site from misuse.

Fridge Notes is managed through Kit, which processes newsletter signups and email delivery. Amazon links may be affiliate links. YouTube, Instagram, Kit, Amazon, and other services have their own privacy policies.
